लेखक परिचय –
महाविद्यालयीन शिक्षण पूर्ण केल्यानंतर काही वर्ष अभाविप या विद्यार्थी संघटनेत पूर्णवेळ काम केले. विद्यार्थी चळवळीत काम करत असताना आसपास घडणाऱ्या छोट्या मोठ्या घटनांकडे पाहण्याचा दृष्टीकोन अधिकाधिक सजग होत गेला. त्यातून मनात उमटणारे तरंग शब्दबद्ध करून कागदावर उतरविण्याचा छंद जडला. आतापर्यंत त्यांची चार पुस्तके प्रकाशित झाली आहेत.

त्यांच्या ‘वैदेही’ कादंबरीत, उत्तर रामायणात; पुन्हा एकदा वनवास स्वीकारावा लागलेली सीता तत्कालीन समाजाच्या चालीरीतींकडे कशी पाहते ? त्यावेळी सीतेच्या मनात उमटणाऱ्या भाव भावना कशा असतील ? याचे शब्दचित्र रेखाटतांना एका अतिशय वेगळ्या पैलूंचे दर्शन घडते.

The essence of Vedanta conceived in the Upanishadas are the expressions of the purest and heighted thoughts of the ancient rishis. Through them the cosmic viewpoint of the thinkers is revealed.
