Vidur is a balanced and pious Character in the epic of Mahabharat. He was honoured as the only gentleman in the wicked kawarvas by Lord Krishna who stayed at his home while playing deplomatic tactics in Udyogparva (a chapter of Mahabharat) Krishna had gone there to avoid was as a messenger of Pandwas to avoid the war. The 33-40 chapters of the (udyogaparva) are about the advice, Vidura gave to Dhrutarashtra the father of Kaurawas for maintainance of peace, law and order in the society. This Mahabharatian advice is valuable because it includes all pervading cosmic order to be followed by all governmental heads all times. Vidur neeti is a precious peace of Indian political thought translated in Marathi.
This is one act play of Dr. Vadyalkar based on social sequence, the dialogues is which are very interesting.
The essence of Vedanta conceived in the Upanishadas are the expressions of the purest and heighted thoughts of the ancient rishis. Through them the cosmic viewpoint of the thinkers is revealed. The hidden meaning of them has been expressed in simple words of flowing language in Marathi by shri B. R. Modak. One of them is Aarunyopanishad.
On a rare occasion, the deep mind, gives expression to the hidden shell in the sea of mind dispersing the pearls in it on the foreground of written form of the poems. The poems in this book may not be called as ideal and are not possible to be sung on yet they are honest in their feelings.
