हास्यबोध म्हणजे नागपूरच्या दैनिक देशोन्नती मध्ये विसेक वर्षांपूर्वी रविवार पुरवणीत प्रकाशित झालेल्या याच नावाच्या लेख मालिकेत माझे मित्र प्रा. सुरेश खेडकर यांनी वर्षभर सातत्याने लिहिलेल्या लेखांचा संग्रह. त्यावेळी मी देशोन्नतीचा पुरवणी संपादक होतो. आचार्य प्र. के. अत्रे यांच्या झेंडूची फुले, या विडंबन कवितासंग्रहाची परंपरा सक्षमतेने सांभाळणारा प्रा. सुरेश खेडकर यांचा एप्रिल फुले, हा विडंबन कवितांचा संग्रह १९८३ मध्ये प्रकाशित झाला होता. त्याची प्रस्तावना सुध्दा मीच लिहिली होती.
त्याचाच धागा धरून मी कवी मित्र सुरेश खेडकर यांनी एखादे विनोदी सदर देशोन्नतीसाठी लिहावे, असा आग्रह धरला. वाचकांना हास्यांकित करून त्यांचे मनोरंजन करणारा विनोदी किस्से व त्यातूनच सध्याच्या आधुनिक परिस्थितीत “शहाणे करूनी सोडावे सकल जन” याप्रमाणे सहजतेने शहाणपणाचा डोस देणारा बोध यांचा संगम घडविणाऱ्या हास्यबोध या मालिकेचा जन्म झाला. हास्यबोधची लोकप्रियता दिवसेंदिवस वाढत गेली. अल्पशिक्षित उच्चशिक्षित, विद्यार्थी, शिक्षक, वार्ताहर, पोलीस कॉन्स्टेबल, वकील, व्यापारी, ऑटोचालक इत्यादी विविध व्यवसायातील वाचकांचा उदंड प्रतिसाद या सदाला त्यावेळी मिळाला. तसाच चांगला प्रतिसाद या पुस्तकालाही मिळेल, याची मला खात्री आहे. शाळा कॉलेजातील विद्यार्थी व विभिन्न स्तरांचे कर्मचारी यांच्या ट्रेनिंग प्रोग्राम मध्ये हास्यबोध नक्कीच उपयुक्त ठरेल.
प्रा. सुरेश खेडकर यांचे विषयांतर हे आणखी एक पुस्तक हास्यबोध सह प्रकाशित होत आहे. त्याबद्दलही त्यांचे हार्दिक अभिनंदन.
The mistries about the personality, and about the future are hidden in our body organs. The science about it is called ?Angalakshan Shastra i.e.? The science of body organs?. The organs and their parts all reveal and can foretell about the person, the hidden capacities in his personality, which would get furnished in future. One can easily predict about this aspect, provided he is rightly and scientifically guided about it. The important factor of this science is that it cannot mislead you because the body and organ (body-parts) are clearly visible which guides for the proclamation. In fact this science is complicated and has a vast jurisdiction, yet here the efforts have been made to abridge & simple it.
In the Sanskrit literature Bhartuhari is the eminent poet, who is read and praised popularly. Though his name is not listed in the list of five epic laureates of sanskrit literature, his poetry is more popular than some of them, and his poems are coated very often even today. The poems of such a popular poet on ascerticism are made known to the Marathi reader in this book. The book also includes the translation of the Bhartuhari’s Sanskrit poems made in Marathi by Vaman Pandit alongwith the meaning in prose.
Shri. Vasant Chinchalkar has given expression to some personalities he came into contact in this book. He has clissified these people/personalities of his choice in Sa, re, Ga, Ma, P and ni – the notes of music. There are some personalities who are famous social figures and some are common people acquainted with the writer, yet each of them have some special feature, which the writer has aptly focused an and meticulously discussed.
